  内胆材料的选用多种多样,但目前公认的比较好的是不锈钢SUS3042B,其耐腐蚀性能极佳,也有人称之为“食品级不锈钢”。其加工工艺主要有两种:滚压成型和焊接。滚压成型在常温下进行加工,对材料材质基本没有影响,所以耐腐蚀性能绝佳。焊接一般采用氩气保护焊或者脉冲焊,但是对不锈钢材质有影响:在焊接区域易产生晶间腐蚀,而且焊缝对氯离子的吸附能力很强,导致焊缝耐腐蚀性下降。尤其在水箱两侧桶底和丝头连接处的环形焊缝,容易发生腐蚀,通常焊接内胆都是先从这些地方发生腐蚀漏水。因此,内胆加工工艺为滚压成型的太阳能产品为首选。
